Meringues
Surely at this time, among various recipes, you will find yourself with leftover egg whites and not know what to do, so why not make these wonderful meringues? You can easily buy some bags and a bit of red ribbon and make thoughtful gifts for friends and family or enjoy them at the end of a meal, it’s up to you what to do next 😁. Meringues are made with only well-beaten egg whites and sugar. The shape is given using a piping bag or two spoons, depending on the shape you want to achieve, and then they are baked at a low temperature for a long time. I must say that these treats are very scenic and we can also use them to decorate cakes or other desserts.

Start by whisking the egg whites with an electric mixer. Add the granulated sugar a little at a time and beat until you get a firm and glossy mixture. Finally, add the sifted powdered sugar a little at a time.
Gently fold in with movements from top to bottom. Transfer the obtained mixture into a piping bag and shape the meringues on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, or you can make them using two teaspoons, depending on the shape you want to achieve. Leave a little space between them. Bake at 194°F for about 1 and a half hours.
