Mimosa Tiramisu Dome Cake
I realized a few days ago that this year for Women’s Day I hadn’t yet made a mimosa in the dome version, and since any excuse is good for making a cake, I got right to work ☺️. I created an EXTRAORDINARY dome with a tiramisu filling (note that there are no raw eggs in the cream, so it can be eaten by everyone)!

Ingredients for the Mimosa Tiramisu Dome Cake:
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- Half packet baking powder for desserts
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup mascarpone
- as needed ladyfingers
Steps

Base preparation:
Beat the eggs with the sugar. Add the starch, baking powder, cocoa, and mix. Add the flour.
Pour the mixture into the mold. Bake at 350°F for about 40/50 min. Once baked and well cooled, remove the crust from the sponge cake and cut into 3 equal discs.
Assembly:
Line the mold with plastic wrap and place a sponge cake disc. Cut another disc into strips and place around.
Soak with coffee and milk.
Cream preparation:
Mix the mascarpone, cream, and sugar. Spread a layer of cream inside.
Add a layer of soaked ladyfingers, then the remaining cream. Sprinkle a bit of cocoa on top, another layer of soaked ladyfingers.
Cut a smaller sponge cake disc and place it on top, soak it. Cover with plastic wrap and place a weight on top, refrigerate for a few hours.
Cut the leftover sponge cake into cubes. After a few hours, remove the mold and cover it with a cream of your choice. Top with sponge cake cubes. Decorate as desired.
Enjoy your meal!
