Muu Muu Cake Without Eggs

Well, my creativity has surpassed itself once again 😂🙈 I found myself at the end of this recipe with a cake that I didn’t know what to call 😁 but then looking at it closely, I thought of the advertisement for the pudding Muu Muu and I had the inspiration 🤩 I named it the same way ☺️! A delicious cake made with “spots” with an egg-free base and filled with a delicious chocolate cream.

Ingredients for Muu Muu Cake Without Eggs:

(8-inch pan)

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup potato starch
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 container plain yogurt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 7 tbsp butter
  • vanilla
  • lemon essence
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 1/6 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3.5 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • rum essence

Steps

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, potato starch, and baking powder. Add the milk, yogurt, lemon essence, and vanilla.

  • Add the melted butter and mix. Pour the batter into a pan, level it, and bake at 356°F for about 40 min.

    Prepare the cream:

    In a pot, add sugar and corn starch.

  • Add the cocoa and mix. Add the milk, stirring to avoid lumps. Heat the mixture until it thickens, stirring occasionally.

  • Once thickened, turn off the heat, add the butter, rum essence, and mix. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool. Add the butter, rum essence.

  • Mix. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool.

    Take the cooled base and make holes with a nozzle. Put the removed pieces in a blender.

  • Grind them finely. Fill the holes with the cold cream using a piping bag, then spread the remaining cream on top, leveling it well. Cover the whole cake with the grated base.

  • Slightly compact and refrigerate for a few hours.

  • Enjoy your meal!
