Ingredients for the Nutella Heart Tart:

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/4 cups Nutella®

Steps

The preparation of the Nutella Heart Tart is very simple, watch the video HERE.

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, a pinch of salt, the sugar, the cold butter, and work with your hands.

  • Add the egg, the water, and knead with your hands until you get a homogeneous dough. Wrap it in cling film and put it in the fridge for about 30 min.

  • After about 30 min, roll out the pastry dough using a little flour if needed. Place it in the heart-shaped mold and adjust it.

  • Remove the excess dough from the edge. Make holes in the bottom with a fork. Spread Nutella on top (if it’s too hard, warm it slightly). Spread and level it.

  • From the leftover dough, cut out various shapes and place them on top. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes.
