This is one of the best times to prepare orange and lemon jam without peel. The citrus fruits are in season, juicy, and very fragrant, and turning them into homemade jam is the tastiest way to preserve their entire aroma. I chose to completely remove the peel and white part, obtaining a jam that is more delicate, fresh, and without bitter notes, perfect for breakfast, filling desserts, or giving as a gift. A simple, natural, and truly irresistible recipe.

Steps
For the preparation of the orange and lemon jam watch the video HERE.
We carefully clean the oranges and lemons, completely removing the peel, white part, internal filaments, and all seeds, leaving only the pulp. We cut the citrus pulp into pieces
we put it in a large bowl. We add the sugar, mix well, and let it rest in the fridge for a few hours. This step helps to extract the juices and enhance the fragrance.
Meanwhile, we clean the apple and cut it into pieces. After the resting time, we add the apple to the citrus fruits and transfer everything to a pot. We bring it to the heat and cook over medium heat for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Towards the end of cooking, we can blend the jam for a smooth consistency or leave it rustic, with visible fruit pieces. When the jam has reached the desired thickness, we remove it from the heat and add the grated lemon and orange zest. We mix well. We immediately pour the hot jam into sterilized jars,
seal tightly and turn upside down to create a vacuum seal. Allow to cool completely.
Final result
And here is a fragrant, fresh, and irresistible orange and lemon jam without peel, with a balanced and natural taste, without bitterness. Perfect on bread, toast, in yogurt, or for filling homemade pies and pastries.
Storage:
In the pantry, it keeps for several months if the vacuum seal is successful
Once opened, store in the refrigerator and consume within 7–10 days
