Pickled Tomatoes
A preserve for the winter, sweet and sour, great to serve along with appetizers with pickles or why not as a side dish to accompany our main meat or fish dishes. Pickled tomatoes are prepared in a few minutes and using very few seasonings, without using any artificial preservatives but only natural ones.

Ingredients for Pickled Tomatoes:
quantity per jar
- 1.4 oz vinegar
- water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- dill
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 spices (Mix)
- green tomatoes
- garlic
Steps
The preparation of pickled tomatoes is very simple, watch the video HERE.
Wash thoroughly then clean the tomatoes by slicing off the ends. Take previously sterilized jars and put a tablespoon of sugar, a tablespoon of coarse salt in each one,
Add spices to taste, dill, garlic, vinegar (1.0 – 1.4 oz per jar),
Place the tomato slices and fill with water. Place weights on top to keep the tomatoes covered, then close tightly.
Arrange the jars in a pot with some paper towels at the bottom and between the jars. Cover with water and boil for about 20 minutes.
