Plum Spiral Tart
A tart made in a different way from the classic one, i.e., in a spiral way and filled with a generous plum filling. A vegan shortcrust made without eggs, milk, or butter to meet any need or intolerance.

Ingredients for the Plum Spiral Tart:
8-inch pan
- 1 lbs plums
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Half lemon juice
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 5 tbsps vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Half packet baking powder
- 1/2 cup plant-based milk
- vanilla
Steps
The preparation of the plum spiral tart is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
In a saucepan, put the plums, sugar, lemon juice, and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Turn off the heat and let it cool. Base preparation:
In a bowl, put the flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla and mix. Add the plant-based milk, oil.
Mix and knead until a homogeneous dough is obtained. Roll out the shortcrust on a sheet of parchment paper. Spread the filling on top.
Sprinkle. Cut 5/6 equal strips. Roll the first strip onto itself and place it in the center of the pan.
Cut the remaining strips in half and place them around to form the spiral. Adjust if needed and bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes.
