pomegranate jam
A unique jam that we don’t usually use, but if you love pomegranates, you must try it. It’s excellent to taste on bread in the morning, at lunch/dinner as an appetizer paired with various types of cheese, or to fill different types of desserts or pies. Pomegranates are not only delicious but are also rich in many beneficial properties for our body.

Ingredients for pomegranate jam:
- 2.2 lbs pomegranates
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 1 lemon
- 2 apples

Steps
Making the pomegranate jam is very easy, watch the video HERE.
First, we need to clean the pomegranates, I cut them in half then hit them with the back of a spoon to release the seeds. If you want to go faster, you can squeeze the juice. Put the obtained seeds in a pot, add the chopped apples, sugar, and squeezed lemon juice.
Mix. Put on the stove and cook for about 40 minutes. Skim off the foam with a spoon and stir occasionally.
Place the obtained mixture in a blender and blend. Strain the seeds and put back on the stove. Cook until the desired thickness is achieved.
Pour into previously sterilized jars. Close and invert to create a vacuum seal.
