Pumpkin Bread
I made a loaf using flour and cooked pumpkin for the dough, then I tied it with string to recreate the shape of the pumpkin as much as possible! I have to say that besides being beautiful, I felt a bit sorry to eat it.😁 It turned out delicious and super soft, staying tender for a few days, so I recommend making it. If you don’t have much time, you can make a simple loaf without tying it!

Ingredients for the Pumpkin Bread:
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup pumpkin
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 3 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
- salt
- pumpkin seeds
- 3 1/2 tbsp water (Milk)
Steps
The preparation of pumpkin bread is very simple, watch the video HERE.
In a bowl, put the flour, yeast, a pinch of salt, oil, cooked pumpkin, and start kneading. Add the water a little at a time and knead for about 10 minutes.
Once the dough is ready, form a ball and place it in a tall, narrow container. Cover it and let it rise until it doubles in volume. After a few hours, take the dough and reshape it to form a ball.
Tie it with the string. I recommend not tightening the string too much. Brush the surface with a little water or milk (I used soy milk) and sprinkle some pumpkin seeds on top.
Let it rise again until it doubles, then bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes.
Enjoy your meal!
