Rice Roll with Scamorza and Mushrooms
A roll made this time with cooked and seasoned rice, then stuffed with mozzarella and mushrooms! A perfect recipe for lunch or dinner that can also be enjoyed cold, so we can prepare the roll in advance and serve it when needed as an appetizer or main course! Ingredients for Rice Roll with Scamorza and Mushrooms:
- 1 cup rice
- 1 onion
- 5.29 oz tomato sauce
- salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 3.53 oz scamorza cheese
- 7.05 oz mushrooms
- 1.76 oz Parmesan cheese
- 7.05 oz mozzarella cheese
Steps
Preparing the rice roll with scamorza and mushrooms is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
First, sauté the onion with a bit of oil, add the previously rinsed rice and toast it. Add the tomato sauce, salt, and spices to taste.
Add water and cook while stirring. At the end of cooking, add the scamorza cheese, Parmesan cheese, and let it cool. Once cooled, add the breadcrumbs.
Add the eggs and mix. On a sheet of parchment paper, put a bit of oil and breadcrumbs and place the obtained mixture on it.
Spread it and level it by compacting well with your hands to form a rectangle. Place the mushrooms and mozzarella on top and roll it up.
Seal it well and bake at 356°F for about 30 minutes
