Salmon and Shrimp Pinwheels
Delicious pinwheels made from puff pastry and filled with salmon, ricotta, and shrimp, great to serve as an appetizer or aperitif! The pinwheels are prepared very quickly and if you like, you can choose not to blend the salmon and use it in pieces instead, or customize it according to your preferences, omitting or adding other ingredients as desired. These salmon and shrimp pinwheels are great to prepare any time of the year, but especially great for our festive menus for Christmas, New Year’s, Eve, etc.

Ingredients for the Salmon and Shrimp Pinwheels:
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 3.5 oz salmon
- 4.23 oz ricotta
- 1.4 oz shrimp
- salt
Steps
The preparation of the salmon and shrimp pinwheels is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
First, open the roll of puff pastry. Place the salmon, ricotta, a bit of salt, and blend until you reach the desired consistency. Spread the obtained mixture over the pastry.
Spread evenly over the entire surface with a spatula. Roll it up using the parchment paper and place the obtained roll in the freezer for about an hour.
Then cut it into slices of the desired thickness to obtain the pinwheels. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving a bit of space between them. Bake at 356°F for about 25 minutes.
