Savory Cheese Crumble Pie
Usually, we’re used to eating crumble pies in sweet versions, but today I propose a crumble made with a savory shortcrust pastry filled with cheese cream. A very simple savory pie to prepare and great to serve as an appetizer in any type of menu. A very convenient recipe that we can prepare well in advance, and if there’s any left, it’s great to take the next day to work or to the beach.

Ingredients for the savory cheese crumble pie:
- 2.5 cups flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tbsp instant yeast for savory preparations

- 1 1/4 cups ricotta cheese

Steps

Dough preparation:
Place the flour, butter, and salt, and work with your hands to melt the butter. Add the eggs and mix.
Place about half of the obtained dough in the mold, press it slightly, and make holes with a fork.
Filling preparation:
In a bowl, place the ricotta, eggs, parsley, some salt, and spices to taste. Put the obtained filling over the base and cover with the remaining crumbled dough. Bake at 350°F for about 50 minutes.
