Ingredients for Savory Phyllo Dough and Ricotta Pie:

  • 2 cups ricotta
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sheep cheese
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • salt
  • garlic
  • dill
  • 1/2 cup scamorza
  • 14 oz phyllo dough

Steps

  • In a bowl, put the ricotta, sheep cheese, eggs, yogurt, a bit of salt.

  • Chop the dill and add it. Add a bit of garlic, either powdered or fresh, and the scamorza cheese, grated or cut into small pieces.

  • Mix well. Brush the baking dish with oil and place 3/4 sheets at the bottom. Add a layer of filling.

  • then add another 3/4 sheets and continue alternating layers until the ingredients are used up. Arrange the last layer of phyllo dough properly

  • brush with oil. Cut and bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes.
