Savory Pie with Ham and Olives

A very simple rustic savory pie to prepare and great to serve at any time, from a simple aperitif/appetizer or to enrich a savory buffet at some party. A very soft pie that we can personalize according to our taste by removing ingredients like cooked ham, olives, or scamorza cheese, or adding speck, provola, salami, etc…

Ingredients for the Savory Pie with Ham and Olives:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 7 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 2.5 oz cheese (Grated)
  • 7 tbsps milk
  • Half plain yogurt
  • 1 packet instant yeast for savory preparations
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 3.5 oz scamorza cheese
  • 3.5 oz cooked ham
  • 1.75 oz olives
  • 3 eggs

  • In a bowl, put the eggs, a pinch of salt, and mix. Add the yogurt, milk, oil, and blend.

  • Add the grated cheese, flour, yeast, and mix again. Finally, add the olives cut as desired, cooked ham, and scamorza cheese, also cut.

  • Blend well. Place the mixture in a mold of your choice (round, square, rectangular, etc.), level it, and bake at 356°F for about 40 minutes.

  • Enjoy your meal!
