Spiced Olives
In Italy, olives are consumed in many ways, especially as appetizers for aperitifs where they are usually never missing. You can find many types of olives already seasoned around, but I like to buy them and make them at home in brine and then season them to my liking. Ingredients for the spiced olives:
- green olives in brine
- garlic
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- chili pepper
- oregano

If you want instead of buying already prepared olives in brine, you can try making them at home (see here how to do it).
We take the olives, let them drain well then add some oregano, chili pepper, chopped garlic, and a bit of oil
Mix everything. Place them in the fridge in an airtight container!
