Stuffed Chiacchiere with Pistachio
Let’s start getting ready for Carnival with this delicious version of stuffed chiacchiere with pistachio. A simple and very appreciated recipe that we can prepare in our homes! I chose to make the pistachio filling because, as you well know, it’s my favorite but if you want you can easily replace it with Nutella or other spreads! Last year I really suggested many ideas for Carnival including the Carnival fritters filled with pastry cream, the Carnival sweet streamers, the Carnival mask cookies, etc. Look here at all the Carnival Sweets I made!
I recommend trying these versions of chiacchiere:

Ingredients for Stuffed Chiacchiere with Pistachio:
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp white wine
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- vegetable oil (For frying)
- pistachio cream (Or other spreads as desired)
- powdered sugar
Steps
For the preparation of stuffed chiacchiere with pistachio watch the video HERE.
In a bowl, put the butter, egg, sugar, wine, and mix. Add the flour.
Mix and knead until you get a homogeneous dough. Roll out half of the dough. You need to get a very thin sheet.
Trim the edges then cut into rectangles. On half, put a little pistachio cream. Brush the edges with a bit of milk/water.
Cover with the empty rectangles. Close the ends well to prevent the cream from leaking during cooking. Fry them in hot oil for a few minutes on both sides, then place them on absorbent paper. Serve with plenty of powdered sugar.
Enjoy your meal!
