Ingredients for stuffed peppers with rice and meat:
- 1 onion
- 300 mixed ground meat
- 0.85 cup tomato puree
- 5 peppers
- spices (To taste)
- bay leaves
- 1.41 oz rice
Steps

In a pan, we put some oil, the chopped onion, and let it sauté. We add the previously rinsed rice and let it toast for a few minutes. We add the tomato puree.
Add spices to taste and cook for a few minutes. Turn off and let cool, then mix with the ground meat and combine well.
Meanwhile, wash and clean the peppers by cutting the top and emptying the inside. Let them drain.
Fill them with the prepared mixture. Place the top back on each one, then arrange them in a pan, fitting them well to prevent them from moving during cooking. Add some bay leaves.
Place a weight on top and cover with water. Cook for about 1 hour.
