Ingredients for Sweet Dumplings with Plums:
(about 10 dumplings)
- 14 oz potatoes
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 egg (Small)
- 10 plums (Small)
- ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cups breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3 1/2 tbsp butter
- ground cinnamon

Dough Preparation:
First, we boil the potatoes, drain them, mash them, and let them cool slightly.
Filling Preparation:
In a bowl, place the pitted plums and the sugar.
Add some cinnamon and mix.
Topping Preparation:
In a pan, put the butter and breadcrumbs, and toast while stirring constantly.
Finally, add the sugar and a bit of cinnamon. Let it cool.
Dough Preparation:
Take the warm mashed potatoes and add the egg.
Add the flour and mix until you get a homogeneous dough.
Assembly:
Take a piece of dough, add a bit of flour if needed, and flatten it with your hands to form a disk.
Place a plum in the center and close forming a ball. Place the balls on a floured plate. Continue this way until all the dough is used. If the plums are too large, you can cut them in half.
Once finished making the dumplings, boil them in boiling water for a few minutes (when they float, they are cooked). Drain them and coat in the prepared topping.
