- 5.3 oz hazelnut spread (pistachio and marmalade)
- chopped hazelnuts (or almonds)
- powdered sugar

Steps
The preparation of the Sweet Puff Pastry Pinwheel Tree is very simple, watch the video HERE.
Procedure
Unroll the puff pastry and let it rest at room temperature for a few minutes.
Spread an even layer of cream over the entire surface.
If you like, add chopped hazelnuts or almonds for a crunchy touch.
Roll the puff pastry starting from the long side, forming a compact roll.
Wrap the roll in parchment paper and place it in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
Cut the roll into slices about 0.6 inches thick.
Arrange the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming the shape of a Christmas tree.
Brush gently with a little milk or water to aid browning.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 355°F for 18-20 minutes, until puffed and golden.
Let cool slightly.
