Tiramisu traditional recipe

The tiramisu is the most appreciated dessert by everyone and you can always find it in every pastry shop, restaurant, etc. A very simple and quick dessert to prepare with a few simple ingredients like eggs, mascarpone, coffee, and ladyfingers. Over the years, many versions of tiramisu have come out such as eggless in the cream, flavored in various tastes like pistachio, lemon, strawberries, pineapple, Nutella, etc. Everyone can choose the version they like best! This recipe is the original version, the one that our grandmothers made using whole eggs but whipping yolks and whites separately before combining the whole!

Ingredients for the traditional tiramisu recipe:
- 8.8 oz mascarpone
- to taste coffee
- 2.5 oz egg whites (Pasteurized)
- 1.8 oz pasteurized egg yolks
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3.5 oz sugar
- 7 oz ladyfingers
Steps
The preparation of the traditional tiramisu recipe is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
In a bowl, place the egg whites and half of the sugar and whisk until stiff peaks form. In another bowl, place the yolks and the remaining half of the sugar and beat until pale and creamy.
Add the mascarpone a little at a time and mix well. Gently fold in the whipped egg whites a little at a time. Dip half of the ladyfingers in sweetened coffee and place a layer in the baking dish. Add half of the prepared cream on top.
Add some cocoa. Place the second layer of ladyfingers dipped in sweetened coffee (the other half). Cover with the remaining cream and cocoa powder.
Place in the fridge for a few hours.
