Truffles with Leftover Savory Cake
After these holidays you will surely find yourself with lots of leftover food. Food is precious and should not be wasted, so I propose a recipe with leftover savory cake of any kind 😊 you just need to blend the leftovers, then mix everything together with soft cheese like stracchino or Philadelphia, and in just a few minutes you will have delicious truffles that you can serve as an appetizer or aperitif! If you want, instead of rolling the balls obtained in the cake crumb mixed with a bit of parsley, you can roll them in any type of sprinkle (pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds, etc.), seeds (sesame, poppy, etc.), or grated cheese (pecorino, parmesan, etc.). A very simple and quick recipe to prepare!!!!

Steps
The preparation of the truffles with leftover savory cake is very simple and quick and does not require cooking, watch the video HERE.
First, finely chop the leftover savory cake. Add the stracchino
mix until you get a soft and homogeneous consistency. Chop some more leftovers along with a bit of parsley (preferably the harder/drier parts) and keep them for later.
Take a bit of the mixture with your hands and form balls, then roll them in the parsley mix kept aside. Continue until the mixture is used up. Place the balls in paper cases.
