Vegan Chickpea Meatballs
Delicious vegan balls made of chickpeas and flavored with a mix of spices, then cooked in tomato sauce. A delight! A very simple recipe that we can prepare in a few minutes at any time of the day and then serve them by heating them up a bit. Ingredients for vegan chickpea meatballs:
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas, boiled
- 2 tbsps water
- olive oil
- salt
- 2 tbsps breadcrumbs
- garlic powder
- spices (Turmeric, paprika, curry, pepper, etc))
- 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce

Steps
The preparation of vegan chickpea meatballs is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
Place the cooked chickpeas without cooking liquid, water, some salt, and spices to taste (turmeric, garlic powder, curry, paprika, etc). Add the breadcrumbs and blend. Form the meatballs with your hands and place them on a tray a bit apart from each other.
In a pan, put some oil, garlic, and let them sauté. Add the tomato sauce, half a glass of water, some basil,
Add some salt, then cook for about 30 min, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, in a skillet, put some oil, add the meatballs, and let them brown for a few minutes.
Turn them over and once ready, put them in the sauce and cook for another 10 min on low heat.
