We usually buy crackers ready-made at the supermarket, but they are full of salt and preservatives, so I recommend trying to make them at home. They are very easy to make with just a few ingredients that we all have in our pantries.

Ingredients for Whole Wheat Crackers:

  • 1 2/3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 6.8 oz white wine
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1.8 oz sunflower seeds
  • ground turmeric
  • salt
  • rosemary

Steps

The preparation of the whole wheat crackers is very simple and quick. Watch the video HERE.

  • In a bowl, put the flour, salt, sunflower seeds, a bit of turmeric, rosemary, and mix. Add the oil, the wine.

  • Mix and knead until you get a homogeneous dough. Place the dough on a sheet of parchment paper and roll it out as thinly as possible (the thinner, the better and crispier they will be). Cut into pieces of the desired size.

  • Bake at 392°F for about 20 min.

  • Enjoy your meal!
