Ingredients for Phyllo Pastries with Apples, Olives, and Gorgonzola

  • 1 package phyllo dough
  • 2 apples
  • 2.1 oz Taggiasca olives (pitted)
  • 4.2 oz gorgonzola
  • 0.35 oz chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 pinch sweet paprika
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation of Phyllo Pastries with Apples, Olives, and Gorgonzola

  • Peel the apples, cut them into cubes and season them with lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of nutmeg

  • Cut the gorgonzola into cubes and add it to the apples. Also add the chopped olives and a pinch of sweet paprika

  • Unroll the phyllo dough and layer three sheets, brushing each with some extra virgin olive oil

  • Divide the phyllo sheet into three strips about 4 inches wide and place a small heap of filling at the base of each strip

  • At this point, you need to form the pastries by folding the pastry as shown in the video

  • Once all the triangles are formed, brush the surface again with extra virgin olive oil

  • Arrange all the triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with chia seeds
