Ingredients
- 8.8 oz Portobello mushrooms
- 1 egg
- as needed flour
- as needed peanut oil
- salt and pepper
Preparation
Remove the mushroom skins and clean with a damp cloth;
Slice into 0.4-inch thick pieces;
Beat an egg and add salt and pepper;
Dip the mushroom slice into the egg and then into the flour twice;
Heat the oil in a deep pan;
Fry for 2 minutes on each side;
Place the fried mushrooms on absorbent paper to remove excess oil;
Add more salt and pepper to taste.
Store for a maximum of 1 day
