for Rustic Pie with Speck and Potatoes

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (round)
  • 4.2 oz smoked cheese
  • 2.8 oz speck, sliced
  • 3.5 oz grated Parmesan cheese
  • 17.6 oz potatoes (diced)
  • to taste fine salt
  • to taste pepper
  • to taste sesame seeds (for topping)

  • To prepare the rustic pie with potatoes and speck, first boil the diced potatoes until soft and let them cool;

    Roll out the puff pastry in the baking pan and poke small holes with a fork;

    Lay the thin slices of smoked cheese and the diced potatoes on the bottom;

    Add salt and pepper;

    Sprinkle with grated cheese;

    Roll the excess edges of the puff pastry;

    Brush the edges with some milk;

    Distribute the sesame seeds along the edges;

    Bake at 356°F for 25/30 minutes

Store leftovers in a well-closed container in the fridge for 48 hours.
