How to Make Gingerbread Man Tartlets
To prepare the Gingerbread Man Tartlets, first prepare the bows, the bow tie of our little man: cut the side of an olive, fold a slice of salami into an accordion shape and put it in the cut olive. Repeat the same procedure for all the olives and set aside.
Put the ketchup in a piping bag, it will help a lot for decoration. But if you’re particularly skilled, you can do it by hand. Cut the slices of white bread with a gingerbread man-shaped cookie cutter.
Spread the surface with mayonnaise, place the bow on the “neck”, place 1 caper cut in half to simulate the eyes and complete by decorating with ketchup. I made both the buttons and the cuffs. They are ready to be served! Enjoy your meal!
Conservation
The gingerbread man tartlets should be consumed immediately after preparation, within 1 hour at most, otherwise the mayonnaise will yellow.
