The homemade preparation of coffee cream is really simple, and with only 3 ingredients, as well as very few steps, you can prepare a cold cream like the one from the bar.

No electric whisks are needed, just a plastic bottle, and in a few minutes, it’s ready.

The important thing is you must use cold coffee and also cold cream from the fridge.

If you use sweetened whipping cream, there is no need to add sugar; if instead, you use fresh or unsweetened cream, add 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar to the cream.

The coffee cream is a delicious alternative to the classic after-meal or mid-afternoon coffee, which in summer becomes even more tempting and inviting.

Ingredients for the Cream

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (or non-dairy)
  • 2 oz powdered sugar
  • 3 cups coffee (three cups of cold coffee)

Steps for Coffee Cream

  • To prepare the coffee cream in a bottle, start by making the coffee.

    Add the powdered sugar, mix well to dissolve it, and let it cool down completely.

    (To be sure, once cold, put the coffee in the fridge for 30 minutes, or for a few minutes in the freezer).

  • Using a funnel, pour the very cold refrigerator cream into the bottle, add the well-cooled coffee, close the bottle carefully, and start shaking the bottle vigorously for 3/5 minutes until the cream starts to whip.

    (If you use already sweetened cream, halve the powdered sugar amount).

  • Serve your coffee cream immediately in cups.

    Add a sprinkle of cocoa or chocolate shavings..

Tips

To decorate our coffee in a bottle, we can also sprinkle it with unsweetened cocoa instead of flakes. Or even, with real coffee beans.
