Of course, it cannot be compared to those prepared according to the traditional method. But being covered with chocolate and sugar sprinkles, with chocolate chips inside, it makes it especially delightful for those who generally do not like candied fruit.

Ingredients for the Homemade Easter Dove Cake
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs (room temperature)
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 orange (the zest, grated)
- 1 lemon (the zest, grated)
- 3/4 cup milk (room temperature)
- 1 vial almond flavor
- 1 packet instant yeast for savory preparations
- as needed sugar sprinkles
- 1 pinch salt
- 3.5 oz chocolate chips
- 1 packet cocoa (chocolate glaze)

Steps for the Homemade Easter Dove Cake
First, separate the egg whites from the yolks into two bowls.
Combine the sugar with the yolks.
Add the grated zest of one orange and one lemon and a vial of almond flavor.
With the help of the mixer, start mixing all the ingredients and gradually add the vegetable oil, still using the electric mixer.
Incorporate the milk and sifted flour and yeast little by little, and a pinch of salt, continuing to mix very well with a spatula.
At this point, beat the egg whites very well.
Incorporate the egg whites, a little at a time.
“First add half and mix from bottom to top.”
Once the egg white is well incorporated, add the remaining egg white and mix from bottom to top.
Incorporate 3.5 oz of chocolate chips into the batter and mix well.
