  • 2 turkey thighs, raw (each thigh weighs 1.1 lbs)
  • 3 lemons
  • as needed water (or vegetable broth)
  • as needed salt
  • pepper
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • leaves sage
  • as needed extra virgin olive oil

Steps for Lemon Turkey Thigh

  • Take the turkey thighs and remove the skin.

    Salt and pepper them, then massage so that the seasoning penetrates the meat.

    Place them in a container. Add the sage leaves and a sprig of rosemary.

    Squeeze the lemons and drizzle the juice over the meat.

    Cover everything with kitchen film and place in the refrigerator to marinate for about 1-2 hours.

  • After the resting time, put a little oil in a casserole, then transfer the meat with its marinade into it.

  • Cook slowly covered for about 1.5 hours, turning it occasionally.

    During cooking, the meat will form a gravy; if it dries too much, add a little water.
