Mini coffee semifreddos perfect for the summer season. A fresh and creamy dessert with the unmistakable aroma of coffee. A semifreddo to serve after a meal or for a delicious break.

Guests arrive suddenly and we’ve decided to have dinner on my terrace and a dessert cannot be missing at the end of the meal.

The idea for this dessert came from the need to quickly whip up a dessert for last-minute guests. The good thing about this recipe is that it can be consumed immediately, just keep it in the fridge during dinner and serve it.

You can prepare a spoon dessert in 15 minutes with readily available ingredients that you surely have at home.

Perfect for when it’s hot and you don’t want to turn on the stove.

Coffee, ladyfingers, and Greek yogurt with two tablespoons of powdered sugar to make it even more irresistible and at the same time, add a crunchy note, I added layers of dark chocolate… for a finger-licking result.

Ingredients for Mini Coffee Semifreddos

  • 20 ladyfingers (or rusks or sugar-free cookies)
  • 14.11 oz Greek yogurt (whole natural)
  • to taste coffee (to dilute the yogurt and soak the ladyfingers)
  • 1 dark chocolate 75% (120-gram bar)
  • 2 teaspoons powdered sugar (or erythritol)
  • to taste unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 vanilla extract (dash)

Steps for Mini Coffee Semifreddos

  • In a bowl, mix the yogurt with the coffee, powdered sugar, and a dash of vanilla extract.

    (The coffee must be completely cold from the fridge before adding it to the yogurt).

    (Sugar can be replaced with erythritol).

  • Coarsely chop the dark chocolate and melt it in a double boiler or microwave.

  • Break the cookies into pieces so that they fit easily into the chosen glass.

    (You can also use sugar-free cookies or rusks).

  • Soak the cookies in coffee and make a first layer.

  • Add some melted chocolate, yogurt cream, and unsweetened cocoa.

    Repeat the layers, stopping at the yogurt.

  • Keep in the refrigerator until serving.

    A dusting of unsweetened cocoa and they are ready to be served.

    What a delight.

    (I recommend taking them out 10 minutes before serving).
