Strawberry Nua Cake. A soft cake, served in slices, with a creamy, fruit-rich heart. A delicate dessert with a butter-free dough that melts in your mouth.

It is a soft, delicious, and simple cake to prepare. I used a 9.5-inch mold to prepare this cake.

A pleasant, soft, and fresh cake. I prepared it for a garden snack. Friends and nieces and nephews loved it, and it was gone quickly.

A simple dessert to make, featuring a dense batter that prevents the cream from sinking to the bottom. Perfect for breakfast and snacks, to amaze everyone with sweet originality.

When it’s strawberry season, I love using them abundantly in my desserts. They are the most fragrant fruits, delicious on their own but perfect for a good dessert. A few days ago, I remade my beloved strawberry tart.

When you’re craving something delicious, that sweet craving that tastes so good, the cake with pastry cream is perfect

Ingredients

Strawberry Nua Cake

  • 1 cup cups milk
  • 1 egg (whole)
  • 1/3 cup cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup cups flour (or cornstarch)
  • vanillin (or lemon zest)
  • 4 eggs (medium at room temperature)
  • 2 1/2 cups cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1/3 cup cups vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup cups milk (room temperature)
  • 1 packet vanillin
  • 9 oz oz strawberries (some needed to decorate the cake)
  • to taste powdered sugar

Tools

  • Mold
  • Electric Whisk
  • Parchment Paper
  • Food Scales
  • Saucepan

Steps

Strawberry Nua Cake

  • Start by preparing the cream so it has time to cool.

In a large bowl, break the egg and mix it with a hand whisk along with the sugar and vanillin. Add the milk, and finally the flour.
Pour the mixture into a saucepan and bring it to the heat. Wait for it to boil and, stirring constantly, let the cream thicken. It will take just a few minutes

  • Transfer the cream to another container and let it cool.

  • In a bowl, break the 4 eggs and mix them with an electric whisk together with the sugar and lemon zest.

You should obtain a light and frothy mixture, with double the volume of the initial one.

  • While continuing to mix with the whisks, incorporate the liquids slowly: first the milk and then the oil.
Now turn off the whisks and start adding the flour a little at a time, mixing with a spatula or spoon with broad and slow movements.
Lastly, add the sifted baking powder.

  • Now incorporate the small diced and lightly floured strawberries into the batter.

This step will prevent the strawberries from sinking to the bottom of the cake during baking

  • Gently mix, then pour the batter into a greased and floured 9.5-inch diameter cake pan.

Place the parchment paper on the bottom and oil, and dust the sides with a light dusting of flour.
Place dollops of the cream on the surface of the cake.
