Ingredients to make apple and almond cookies

  • 2 apples (peeled)
  • 8.82 oz almonds (or almond flour)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • as needed sesame seeds
  • as needed almond flakes (optional)
  • Half lemon (juice optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

How to prepare apple and almond cookies

  • Peel and chop the apples, place them in a pot with water and the juice of half a lemon. Bring to the heat and cook on low. Meanwhile, toast the almonds in a small pan and blend them in the mixer into flour.

  • Add the cooked apples to the almond flour and blend everything together, transfer the obtained mixture into a bowl to form a homogeneous dough. Prepare a small bowl with sesame seeds and if desired, another with almond flakes. Take a piece of dough, roll it between your hands, and form a nice ball, roll it in the seeds or almond flakes and place it on the baking tray lined with parchment paper or with the micro-perforated mat.

    Continue until all the dough is used up and bake in a static oven at 350°F for about 25/30 minutes.
