Ingredients for the Easy and Quick Pancake Recipe
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsps sugar
- 3.4 fl oz pasteurized, partially skimmed cow's milk
- 0.8 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- as needed butter (for the pan)
- 1 tsp baking powder
You Will Need
- Bowl
- Hand Whisk
- Pan
- Spatula
- Ladle
Preparing the Easy and Quick Pancake Recipe
In a bowl, beat the egg with the sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla extract using a hand whisk. I used my homemade one, find the recipe here. Add the flour and baking powder sifted together and continue to work with the whisk. Pour in the milk, mix well until you have a smooth batter. The pancake batter is ready.
Heat a pan slightly greased with a little butter, and using a ladle, pour some batter to start cooking. After about 2/3 minutes, small bubbles will form on top, then flip it with a spatula and cook the other side. Proceed the same way with the rest of the batter, placing them on a plate, stacking them on top of each other. The pancakes are ready to be enjoyed for breakfast with a dusting of powdered sugar, Nutella, honey, or traditionally with some excellent maple syrup 😜😋
Storage
You can store cooked pancakes in the refrigerator for up to 2 days in a food container. The batter can be stored covered with plastic wrap for only one day.
