The apple fritters without eggs are a real treat, a simple and quick dessert. The batter is egg-free and quick to prepare, plus it’s light and delicate and makes our fritters beautifully crispy. The apple is a widely used ingredient in desserts, with many varieties available, but for this recipe, any kind works, just make sure to remove the core well, dip them in the batter, fry them in plenty of oil, sprinkle them with sugar and cinnamon, and serve them warm. Ingredients for the eggless apple fritters
- 4/5 cups flour
- 2 pcs apples
- 3.5 tbsp milk
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/3 cup sparkling water
- 1 tbsp sugar (+ for decorating)
- to taste lemon juice
- to taste ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparing the eggless apple fritters
I wash the apples, remove the core, and peel them. I cut them into slices about 1/4 inch thick and place them in a bowl with lemon juice to prevent them from browning.
In a bowl, I pour the sparkling water, milk, baking powder, sugar, vanilla extract, and flour. I mix all the ingredients with a hand whisk until I get a smooth, lump-free mixture.
I pour the seed oil into the pan, bring it to a temperature of 340°F, start dipping the apple slices in the batter coating them well, and fry them until golden on both sides.
Once cooked, I place them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil, then sprinkle them with sugar flavored with cinnamon.
Storage
They are excellent hot just made, but even cold they are too good! My advice is to enjoy them on the same day and avoid freezing.
