Homemade Condensed Milk – also with Thermomix, a super easy, economical recipe perfect for making homemade desserts in just a few minutes! Today I show you how to make it both with the traditional method, in a simple saucepan, and with the Thermomix, quickly and without any mess.
It is a sweet and thick cream, prepared with whole milk, sugar, and butter, ideal to replace the packaged one: it costs less, has no preservatives, and has all the flavor of homemade things. I use it for ice creams without an ice cream maker, bundt cakes, cold desserts, or simply to sweeten coffee or cappuccino.

Preparing Homemade Condensed Milk – also with Thermomix
In a high-sided saucepan, add all the ingredients: whole milk, vanilla powdered sugar, and butter. Place over heat and stir with a hand whisk until the mixture starts to boil.
At this point, lower the heat and continue to stir constantly for about 20 minutes, until the cream begins to thicken. It is important not to stop stirring, because the milk tends to rise and could overflow.
When it reaches a thick and velvety consistency, turn off the heat and pour the condensed milk into a clean container. Let it cool completely before sealing it with the lid. It keeps in the refrigerator for about one week.Pour into the Thermomix jug the whole milk and the vanilla powdered sugar, then start for 3 minutes at 212°F – Speed 2.
Add the butter and continue cooking for 23 minutes at 212°F – Speed 2. Finally, set 2 minutes at Varoma temperature – Speed 2 to achieve a thicker consistency.
Once ready, pour the condensed milk into a clean container, let it cool completely, and then seal it with the lid. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week
