The 7-jar cake is one of the simplest and quickest recipes to prepare. I often heard about it, so I decided to give it a try… and it was a real success!
It is a soft, delicate, and fragrant cake, perfect for breakfast, snack, or with a cup of tea. Everyone loves it, both adults and children, and it really takes just a few minutes to make.
The peculiarity? You use the jar of yogurt as a measurement unit for all the ingredients, so you don’t even need a scale. And you can choose the yogurt you prefer: natural, fruit, coffee, or pistachio. Each variant has its own fragrance and goodness!
If you’re looking for a simple yet always perfect dessert, this cake is for you.
See you soon, Susy

- 1 jar Yogurt
- 3 jars Flour
- 2 jars Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 1 jar Peanut Oil
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 packet Baking Powder
You Will Need:
- Bowl
- Whisk

Preparation of the 7-Jar Cake
Using electric whisks, I whip the eggs with the sugar until I obtain a nice fluffy cream, then I add the yogurt while continuing to whip.
Next, I add the peanut oil or melted butter and continue to whip at a lower speed.
I manually incorporate the flour, sifted baking powder, and grated lemon zest (optional).
I pour the batter into a greased and floured 9.5-inch mold, and finally bake it at 350°F for about 45 minutes.
Once cooked, I take it out of the oven, let it cool well, and finally taste it
