Wine Donuts: Easy, Crunchy and Aromatic Recipe

Wine Donuts: easy, crunchy, and aromatic recipe are typical cookies from the Roman tradition, crunchy on the outside and crumbly on the inside, perfect to enjoy at any time of the day. They are without butter, eggs, and yeast: a light and aromatic recipe that is prepared in a few minutes with simple ingredients.
Dunk them in milk for breakfast or enjoy with a glass of wine after a meal, these donuts are always very appreciated. At home, we all love them: they disappear in a moment and are also ideal to give as a gift or serve after dinner.
You can flavor them with anise seeds or enrich them with chocolate chips to make them even more delicious. Although they are often prepared at Christmas, they are perfect at any time of the year. Over time, I have refined this recipe to achieve even crunchier wine donuts on the outside and crumbly on the inside, just as tradition wants.
Well, let’s move on to the recipe!
