I always recommend, when using ready-made pasta to put in the baking dish without pre-cooking, to prepare the lasagna at least a few hours earlier. In the morning for the evening or vice versa to allow the sauce to soften the pasta and make it more flavorful. For this preparation, in my opinion, rustic sheets are more suitable, those that come 6 per package and not the very thin ones, which instead are 12.
