The cooking of lentils unfortunately depends a lot on their quality, some cook very quickly, others seem to never cook. If upon opening the lid they are still hard but already dry, add a little water, close again, and give it a few more minutes of cooking. If they are cooked but too watery, dry them with the lid open using the Sauté function.
