Ingredients to make gratinated cauliflower in the air fryer
- 1 lb 12 oz cauliflower
- 3.5 oz Grana Padano, grated (or Parmesan)
- 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
- to taste salt
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste black pepper
- to taste sweet paprika (or hot)
Tools
- Pot
- Air Fryer
- Skimmer
- Air fryer parchment sheets
- Oil sprayer
Preparation
Clean the cauliflower: separate the florets from each other, rinse them and boil them in plenty of lightly salted water; drain them while still al dente.
Place them in a bowl, add a generous drizzle of oil, the grated Grana Padano, the breadcrumbs, pepper and paprika.
Gently mix everything, place an air fryer parchment sheet on the rack of your air fryer (if you don’t have one leave it empty), give a few sprays of olive oil and cook at 392°F for 15 minutes, or until you have achieved the desired browning, shaking the florets a little to turn them halfway through cooking.
Our gratinated cauliflower from the air fryer is ready — serve hot or warm as an appetizer or side dish, or as you prefer.
Storage and tips
Store leftovers in the refrigerator, well sealed in an airtight container, and consume within 2 days after reheating. Of course, if eaten just made they will be crispier and more tempting.
