Beer chicken drumsticks in a skillet, very tender and succulent — the perfect recipe if you don’t know How to cook chicken. With chicken you can easily create tasty and relatively inexpensive dishes; this type of meat indeed allows for a thousand different combinations and delightful results. On the blog there are many chicken-based recipes, but I managed to find one I hadn’t made yet: beer chicken drumsticks. I can say that until some time ago I was very reluctant to use this beverage when preparing meat mains, then one day I decided to try and risked cooking beer pork loin rolls, beer meatballs and even beer-braised pork ribs or beer-braised pork neck. Believe me, they were so good that then I got creative and with the same beverage I also prepared beer-braised pork shank cooked in a pot, beer-braised chicken in a casserole and many other recipes like today’s, where beer is a key ingredient! But let’s go to the kitchen — I’ll tell you how easy it is to cook beer chicken drumsticks in a skillet with onions and carrots, making even a little sauce for dipping at the end! How to make beer chicken drumsticks in a skillet

  • Peel, rinse and slice the onions and carrots; place them in a skillet, add a little oil and let them soften over medium-high heat. Prepare the drumsticks: singe any remaining pin feathers over the burner and rub them with the roasting seasoning (which already contains salt).

  • Place the drumsticks in the same pan where the vegetables are browning, let them flavor over medium-high heat and as soon as the legs change color, pour in all the beer.

Cook for 30 minutes over low heat with the lid on; after that time remove the lid, raise the heat and let the liquid evaporate. After 45 minutes total the chicken should be ready — turn off the heat, let it cool a bit, garnish with parsley and enjoy.
