  • 5 oz cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch oregano

How to prepare baked feta with vegetables or in an air fryer

  • To prepare the baked feta with vegetables, cut the feta into cubes about 1.5 cm (0.6 inches) wide (1). Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes, then slice them into rounds if using grape tomatoes (2) or wedges if using cherry tomatoes. Peel the onion and cut it into thin slices (3).

  • Wash and dry the pepper, remove the stem and seeds, and cut it into not too thick slices (4). Place all the vegetables in a baking dish and season them with a pinch of salt (just a little, as feta is already salty), and two tablespoons of oil. Mix with your hands to distribute the seasoning evenly, then add the feta and a pinch of oregano. Mix again briefly (5). Bake the feta with vegetables in the preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) (fan) for about 15 minutes, until the vegetables (especially the pepper) are tender and golden (6).

To cook feta with vegetables in an air fryer, set the temperature to 180°C (356°F) and place the baking dish in the basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, checking the vegetables’ doneness before removing.
