How to prepare baked feta with vegetables or in an air fryer
To prepare the baked feta with vegetables, cut the feta into cubes about 1.5 cm (0.6 inch) on each side (1). Wash and dry the cherry tomatoes, then cut them into slices if using datterini tomatoes (2) or into wedges if using cherry tomatoes. Peel the onion and slice it thinly (3).
Wash and dry the pepper, remove the stem and seeds, and cut it into slices not too thick (4). Gather all the vegetables in a baking dish and season them with a pinch of salt (just a little as the feta is already savory) and two tablespoons of oil. Mix with your hands to distribute the seasoning evenly, then add the feta and a pinch of oregano. Mix briefly again (5). Bake the feta with vegetables in a preheated oven at 356°F (fan) for about 15 minutes until the vegetables (especially the pepper) are soft and golden (6).
Take the dish out of the oven and let it cool for at least 10 minutes. Serve the baked feta with vegetables hot or at room temperature.
Cooking in Air Fryer
To cook the feta with vegetables in an air fryer, set a temperature of 356°F and place the baking dish in the basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, checking the doneness of the vegetables before removing.
