Ingredients for one serving of Mediterranean feta in air fryer

  • 6 oz feta
  • 3 oz cherry tomatoes (or grape tomatoes)
  • 2 slices Tropea red onion
  • 0.35 oz olives (pitted)
  • 2 threads extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch oregano
  • A few leaves mint
  • A few leaves basil

How to prepare feta in air fryer with cherry tomatoes and olives

  • To prepare the Mediterranean-style feta in the air fryer, start by washing the cherry tomatoes. Dry them and cut them in half (1). Peel the onion and cut two not-too-thin slices (2); separate the rings to distribute them better. Place the cherry tomatoes and onion slices in a baking dish of about 8×8 in. Season everything with a pinch of salt (very little, as feta is already flavorful), some oregano, a pinch of mint, and a drizzle of oil (3).

  • Mix everything with a spoon, then arrange the cherry tomatoes and onion on the sides of the dish, leaving space in the center for the feta (4). Place the feta in the center of the dish and season it with a pinch of oregano and a slight drizzle of oil. Scatter the olives and chopped basil here and there (5). Place the dish in the basket of the air fryer and cook everything for 10 minutes at 356°F. No need to preheat the fryer. When the feta and cherry tomatoes are slightly golden, remove them (6)

Storage
