Ingredients for Olive and Tuna Bread Rolls

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 package canned tuna in oil (5.6 oz)
  • 3/4 cup green olives (pitted)
  • 1 packet instant yeast for savory preparations
  • 1 1/4 tsp salt

  • After preparing all the ingredients on your work surface, start by taking a large enough bowl, it should contain all the ingredients. I recommend, if you use whole green olives, to cut them in half, you can also use sliced olives to make preparation faster.

  • Pour the sifted flour into the bowl, then, gradually, the water, and start stirring with a spatula or spoon.

  • Add the instant yeast, salt, and continue stirring to mix all the ingredients well.

  • Now pour the pitted green olives and tuna into the mixture. Mix again for a few minutes.

  • Now take a baking tray, cover it with parchment paper, and with a spoon take an amount of mixture, using a teaspoon place the mixture on the tray.

  • Continue like this until all the dough is used. Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F and let it cook for 35 minutes. The cooking time always depends on the size of the rolls; if you make them small, the time will be reduced from 35 minutes to about 20 minutes. In the end, they should be puffed and golden.
