The amaretto tiramisu is a delicious dessert prepared without eggs, yet still rich in flavor. It can be prepared in a few minutes and is the ideal dessert to serve at the end of a meal, even when you have unexpected guests. Tiramisu is a classic Italian pastry dessert, originally from the city of Treviso. Also available in a lactose-free version.

Ingredients

  • 15 amaretti
  • 200 ml coffee
  • 20 ml amaretto (liqueur)
  • 8.8 oz mascarpone (lactose-free with less than 0.01% lactose or plant-based)
  • 1 cup whipping cream (lactose-free with less than 0.01% lactose or plant-based)
  • 3.5 oz powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Steps

  • Whip the mascarpone with the cream with the help of a stand mixer or electric beaters. Halfway through whipping, start adding the powdered sugar and amaretto liqueur. Whip for another 2 minutes.

    Soak the amaretti and place them in individual servings. Pour a tablespoon of amaretto tiramisu cream into each glass. Place another amaretto soaked in coffee and cover with another tablespoon of cream.

    Dust with unsweetened cocoa powder. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
