It’s quick to prepare and is the perfect dessert to serve at the end of a meal, even when unexpected guests arrive. Tiramisu is a classic dessert from Italian pastry, originating from the city of Treviso. Also available in lactose-free version.

Ingredients

  • 15 amaretti
  • 6.8 oz coffee
  • 0.7 oz amaretto (liqueur)
  • 8.8 oz mascarpone (lactose-free with lactose less than 0.01% or plant-based)
  • 1 cup ml whipping cream (lactose-free with lactose less than 0.01% or plant-based)
  • 3.5 oz powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Steps

  • Beat the mascarpone with the cream using a stand mixer or electric whisks. Halfway through, start adding the powdered sugar and the amaretto liqueur. Beat for another 2 minutes.

    Soak the amaretti and place them in individual servings. Pour a spoonful of amaretto tiramisu cream into each glass. Place another coffee-soaked amaretto on top and cover with a spoonful of cream.

    Dust with unsweetened cocoa. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours before serving.
