The apple butter is a perfect, delicious, and healthy autumn recipe. It is made with fresh apples, brown sugar, and spices that give it a heavenly aroma. Apple butter is excellent spread on bread, toast, or used to fill pies and cookies. Any variety of apples can be used, and brown sugar can also be replaced with coconut sugar. Apple butter can be stored in the pantry after sterilizing the jars, frozen, or poured boiling into sterilized jars; after closing them, let them cool upside down, then transfer to the refrigerator and store for up to 3 months.
