Ingredients
- 6.3 oz butter
- 4.2 oz sugar
- 3 eggs
- 0.42 cup orange juice
- 8 oz all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp orange zest (grated)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 apples
- 3 tbsps orange marmalade

Steps
In a bowl, place the softened butter and beat with electric whisks.
Add the sugar and whip until creamy.
Add the grated orange zest, vanilla, and salt.
Mix and add one egg at a time.
Continue to mix until the eggs are well absorbed into the butter and sugar mixture.
Pour in half of the flour and half of the orange juice.
Mix with the whisks and then add the remaining flour, baking powder, and orange juice.
Mix well.
Butter and flour a 9.5-inch baking pan
Pour the mixture.
Peel the apples and slice them.
Decorate the cake with the apples.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for 40 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately brush with warm orange marmalade.
Let cool and remove from the pan.
