The baked cherry jam I propose is very simple to make and with little sugar. The only downside is that you have to pit the cherries before cooking, but it’s really worth the effort. Also, cherries have always been very expensive, so it’s only convenient if you have a tree of this fruit. Anyway, I recommend trying the Soft Cherry Cakes or the Jam Crumble.

- 4.4 lbs cherries
- 2 1/2 cups sugar

Steps
Wash and pit the cherries.
Place them in a pan and cook the cherries until they break down, about 30 minutes.
Add the sugar and transfer to the oven at 300°F using static mode.
End cooking after 2 hours, after the plate test.
Pour into previously sterilized jars, seal with lids, and turn upside down until cooled.
