Blueberry Jam

The blueberry jam is a simple jam to prepare at the end of summer to fill cakes, pies, cookies, pancakes, and crepes. Small and particularly tangy, blueberries are powerful antioxidants to include in our daily diet.

Ingredients

  • 2.2 lbs blueberries
  • 2 cups sugar

Tools

  • 1 Pot
  • Jars

Steps

  • Wash the blueberries and place them in a saucepan after drying them.
    Add the sugar, mix gently and let it macerate for a few hours (about 3).
    Cook on low heat for one hour.
    Pour into previously sterilized jars.
    Close with lids and turn upside down until cooled to achieve vacuum sealing.
    Store in a dry place.
